Polar Express to the North Pole

Polar Express to the North Pole

Guys,  a couple of years ago I heard about these trains during the Christmas season and since then I’ve dreamt of taking the kids and have had it on my list to do during Christmas. Well.. back in October I started looking online for one in Utah and I got soooo giddy when I saw there was one just outside Salt Lake City in Heber City! Kyden has a HUGE obsession with trains right now and every time we drive anywhere and he sees a train or the city transit train he makes sure to get us to look at it a million times and always asks if we can go on it. And Jett loves to play with his wood train set and this battery powered lego one (found here) constantly so we knew this was the perfect gift for them! I myself have never been on an actually moving train so I was so pumped that I found tickets because even back in October they were already selling out!

We never told the kids about the train because we wanted to surprise them when we got there. Even though it was truly killing me not to spill the news to them because I knew they would be so pumped. But when we pulled up and they saw the train all light up, we watched their reactions and that moment in itself was worth it all. Kyden was screaming with excitement and kicking his legs and of course asked immediately if he could go on the train and for once we could actually say YES! Ahhh… I live for those moments with my kids, seeing their excitement on top of the magic that happens at Christmas just makes my heart so dang happy! Christmas is my favorite time of the year and watching it through their eyes is by far the best part! It was also the most perfect night, it  started snowing right before we got there, with huge fluffy snowflakes that just made the moment so perfect and magical.  Robert and I kept glancing and smiling at each other the whole night as we watched the kids reactions to it all and ended the night high fiving each other in the car haha

The snow guys… I was in love

He was so pumped to hold the tickets, wouldn’t let go of them… cutest thing!!

just love his squishy little smiles so dang much!!

They spelt Jattler instead of Jettler 😉

Just living their best life…. haha

Baby girl…. kicked the whole time and I loved it! Also if you look closely you’ll see my hot cocoa stain on on my belly…. pretty sure by the end of every single day I end up having some sort of food stain on my bump, it just catches everything haha i’m a mess!

He’s been so against anything Santa lately, like if we say Santa is bringing you presents he immediately responds saying “nooo.. don’t want Santa, I want Papa” (my dad)  haha it’s funny so I was secretly terrified for this moment but he was beyond pumped to see Santa and get a present from him

Coat (similar here for $40 on sale!!! and here) | Top | Beanie | Pants | Boots (Under $40!) | Scarf | Kids Boots | Robert’s Coat

If you live in a city where they have a Polar Express train I would look into it because this one in Heber City was INCREDIBLE!!! I highly recommend to anyone living in the Salt Lake City area to go next year or try and find tickets left this year because it was sooo funnn! They served all of us fresh homemade cookies with hot cocoa,  the crew sang Christmas songs and danced,  we go to see the North Pole and Santa himself came on board and handed all the kids a special gift (jingle bells) and then finished the night with a gift bag for each person to take home. SOOOO FUN!! Can’t wait to go back next year with our baby girl joining us!!!

Anyone have fun Christmas plans or traditions, I’d love to hear what they are! Comment below 🙂

Thanks again for stopping by, means the world to me!

Xx, Stacey
