My Vacation Style

My Vacation Style

Truth be told I waited till the very last week to order and pack my outfits for our Bahama trip.. and then I wondered why I was such a stress ball the day before we left. Thank goodness for 2 day shipping is all I can say, saves my butt every time! Here are a bunch of my outfits below that were some of my favorites plus some that I’ve just recently bought or have had my eye on! Thanks for stopping by, I hope you enjoy!

1.

GINGHAM POMPOM HIGHWAIST BIKINI

Truthfully I have never received so many compliments on a swimsuit in my entire life and not only does this bikini come in a TON of mix match style options, it was a steal of a deal! Gingham and pom-pom are trending everywhere so this bikini gives you the best of both worlds!

IVORY TIE UP DRESS

Out of all my outfits this was my absolute FAVORITE!! I just loved how it fit and was perfect for going out to dinner but then also going out to the dock at sunset. Sometimes I get so worked up about making my outfits look “mom approved” like is it too short? Is it showing too much? Silly but unfortunately yes as a mom I do feel judged sometimes and have even been told how I should dress (uhhh… yeah c ya!!) but I realized people will judge how I dress all the time and if they don’t they are most likely going to judge something else about me so I might as well say screw it and dress how I want and be happy! And this dress just made me feel good about myself and to complete the look I added some cute heart hoop earrings!

3.

WRAP TOP AND PANTS

These pants!! I have my eye on so many this season and these mint striped cuties were so comfy! I knew it needed a cute top to compliment them and I found this one for under $15 so of course I snagged it. Also if you follow me on my Instagram you probably can tell I have an obsession with headbands and headscarves lately. Never too many!

4.

MULTI STRIPE ONEPIECE SWIMSUIT

These colors had me at first sight guys..  I thought immediately of the Bahamas when I saw it! Such a cute piece with a scoop back detail. Usually I spend a bit more on one pieces because I’ve found cheap ones lose their shape after a couple of wears so I didn’t mind investing in this piece (TIP: If wearing swimsuits in chlorine, make sure you rinse ALL your expensive swimsuits in water immediately right after and then throw them in the wash when you get home to keep their shape and color).

WRAP DRESS

I was going for a bit of a beach boho look here, I think I pulled it off but I’ll let you decide haha! I love light weight dresses especially in hot temperatures and this one looks like a two piece but it’s actually a dress. I think the slight break is a flattering mix with the wrap tie up. I completed it with a cute mustard turban style headband and of course my favorite accessory of the trip, my round straw bag!  You guys NEED this bag and I have found replicas all over the place for less, I’ve linked a few below!

6.

SUSPENDER BIKINI

Truth… I was snapping those suspenders all day haha but how cute is this set for real? It’s definitely an investment piece and the quality is impeccable. However I did find a replica suit for A LOT less. I’ll link both below. Your welcome : )

7.

BLUE BUTTON DRESS

This cute number fits ahhhmazing! I was on the hunt for a cute linen dress and as soon as I tried this one on I loved it. I don’t normally wear midi length dresses but this one may have converted me. I tied it all together with  my favorite bag again but also some really cute fringe earrings!

8.

RED BELL SLEEVE DRESS

I don’t usually wear red but for this dress I made an exception! It’s the perfect amount of cute and flirty and I love loose-fitting (non suffocating) dresses where I can actually eat dinner without feeling like if I move I’m going to bust a seam.  And this is a perfect mix, its loose fitting but has a  flattering gathered waist. Plus with kids, I could run around and play with them without feeling uncomfortable. Also fringe and tassel earrings are a must so I paired my dress with some dainty white ones.

(This dress unfortunately sold out but I’ve linked VERY similar ones below)
